This movie is mainly about this one lady, name

Brenda Martin (Julianne Moore) who one night

showed up in a hospital and got treated for

hysteria and shock. Her hands were bloody,

and she told the officers that she got car jacked

in this undeveloped land where it divided the

projects from the middle class city. The worst part was that her four year old son was in the back seat of the car when it got jacked. Lorenzo Council ( Samuel L. Jackson) tried to find out what really happened and wasnt really getting anywhere. Most of the time Brenda was out of it also. Because of where she said she got car jacked, it than started a riot in the neighborhoods. The officers wouldnt let them out of the projects and got the whole place surrounded just because they thought that the car jacker/kidnapper was living in there. The whole time I was watching the movie, I couldnt figure out what the ending would be. There were a few things that I thought happened, but in the end, it all comes together.

I would rate this movie 3 out of 5 stars just because there wasnt really any big huge exciting part.
